Online festival videos

In November 2025, Rev21 brought together some of the sharpest minds of our time—writers, activists, academics, citizens, scientists, and thinkers from across the globe—for an online festival rooted in one urgent question: What happens when we decide to remake the world?

Across a series of rich and challenging conversations, speakers confronted the realities of our moment and shared their perspectives on how we adapt, transform, and build something better.

We’re excited to announce that the recorded videos from the festival are now officially available. Whether you joined us live and want to revisit the ideas that stayed with you, or you’re discovering the festival for the first time, these recordings offer a chance to engage deeply with voices that are helping shape what comes next.

Palestinian Resistance and Global Solidarity

The conversation highlights why the olive harvest in Palestine is targeted and why land is dignity, solidarity as a practice not saviourism, the difference between “peace” and freedom &dignity, international action and what people outside of Palestine can do next beyond marching.

How African Youth Are Turning Climate Anxiety into Systemic Action

with Jesse David, Esther Agaya, Edwin Makanga, Comfort Francis, Ayo Fola

Key themes include climate anxiety as a catalyst for community organising, the injustice of debt and extraction, the real human cost behind “degrees and numbers”, organising across borders, why youth voices are sidelined and creativity &joy as tools for climate mobilisation.

Making Repression Backfire

with Wayne Hsiung

Wayne Hsiung explains how small, risky actions can trigger outsized wins when you design feedback loops, solve the “day two” problem, and aim for exponential growth by building activist momentum – not chasing today’s public approval. The conversation moves along to why movements need deep community, purpose, and stories of identifiable victims.
